Admission to UNIZULU
Choosing the degree you want to pursue is the first step in applying for admission to the university. Upon admission, you are subsequently accepted to one of the four faculties of the university, depending on the course you have chosen. The University of Zululand Online Application
APPLICATION FEE AND CLOSING DATES FOR ACADEMIC ADMISSION
- 30 September ALL programs close
- Please consult the CAO booklet or website at www.cao.ac.za for application fees and the method of payment.
CERTIFIED COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST ACCOMPANY EACH APPLICATION:
- National Senior Certificate or statement of results or,
- Senior Certificate
- Copy of ID
- Additional documentation for international prospective students:
- Copy of passport
- Study permit
- Medical aid/health insurance cover
APPLYING TO STUDY at the University of Zululand
- GRADE 12 Learners, International and Transferring students may apply

ADMISSION TO DEGREE PROGRAMMES (after 2007)
The minimum entry requirement is to have a National Senior Certificate (NSC). At least 30% of university study and teaching language Facility certified by Umalusi. The performance rating is 4 (Good). A grade of 50-59% or higher in 4 of the following subjects is recognized. 20 credits of NPC subjects (called Fixed Subject List):
