They are one of the largest research universities in South Africa and have nine highly respected faculties covering a wide range of knowledge, from classical disciplines to rapidly evolving new disciplines. We are home to Africa’s premier business school, the Gordon Institute for Business Sciences in Johannesburg, Africa’s premier law school, and South Africa’s only veterinary school in Ondersteput near Pretoria.

The faculty consists of 120 faculties, and the Faculty of Humanities offers a combination of over 1,200 programs. Education; Economics and Business Sciences; Natural Sciences and Agriculture; Health Sciences; Veterinary Medicine; Theology and Religion; Law; Engineering, Constructed Environment, Information Technology.

The programs are locally and globally relevant.
