University of Pretoria Camerata UP Camerata Application
The University of Pretoria (Tuks) Camerata, which celebrated its 53rd anniversary in 2021, has received many national and international accolades through the years. The choir’s goals include fostering the cultural growth of the student body, enhancing choral singing in the lives of both students and the general public, and serving as cultural representatives of the University of Pretoria. 85 full-time students from a range of academic disciplines, including medicine, engineering, religion, law, education, economics, accounting, plant sciences, and music make up The Camerata, which is run by The School of the Arts (Faculty of Humanities).
Biography UP Camerata Application
The Camerata was officially established on 20 March 1968. Its mission is to make a contribution towards the cultural development of the student corps and the cultural enrichment of the community through choral singing. The choir also endeavors to promote a worthy image of the University Of Pretoria by striving towards the highest possible artistic standards together with a code of conduct that meets the highest requirements of companionship.
The choir operates under the auspices of the Department of Music of the University Of Pretoria. The conductors have always aimed for high artistic values. The choir has previously been conducted by:

Camerata is generally a small choir with between 40 and 60 voices. The exact number differs between choir years.
