PAYMENT OF TUITION FEES

The University Council sets the fees each year, and they are subject to change without notice.

Payable to the Institution is the tuition fees.

When registering, students promise to pay all fees on time and in accordance with the University’s policies. It is encouraged that students get familiar with the University General Prospectus section on Fees Payable to the University.

(MIP) Minimum Initial Payment

A minimum initial payment (MIP) of R3500.00 must be made by the student before registration in order for the university to allow them to register. The student’s account will receive credit for this sum.

Grants, Student Loans, and NSFAS

To clear the relevant account and enable registration, all students who have been assigned a student bursary or a loan through NSFAS must present a copy of the bursar’s letter to the student fees section prior to registration.

By logging in to www.nsfas.org.za, one can submit NSFAS applications directly to NSFAS. VERY IMPORTANTLY, make sure you submit your NSFAS application for financing before the deadline. Application processing for the NSFAS is not handled by the UFH.
