2024 Undergraduate and Honours applications closed on Friday, 19 October 2023.
NO Late Applications for Undergraduate and Honours.
ONLY 2024 Masters and Doctoral applications have a Late Application fee of R250.00 until 31st December 2023.

HOW TO APPLY TO University of Fort Hare
- Submit your application form and all the necessary documentation including the application fee before the closing date. University of Fort Hare Check Status
- An SMS will be sent to you informing you of the status of your application thereafter a letter of confirmation.
- Current matriculants who qualify based on their Grade 12 mid-term performance, are provisionally admitted pending the submission of their final matric results and subject to availability of space. UFH Application Form 2024 PDF Download
- Successful applicants will receive an admission letter, together with a registration guide, which reflects the registration dates and orientation program. It is important to note that all applicants who wrote the National Senior Certificate (NSC) are required to write the National Benchmark Test (NBT) before they are allowed to register for their 1st year at University.

How do I check my status on STUDENT IENABLER?
- Go to www.ufh.ac.za
- When you see the Online Services BUTTON, scroll to the bottom of the page. You can access the STUDENT IENABLER menu by clicking this.
- Use the student number and Pin you created when applying online to log in to the IENABLER menu. If you select Forgot Pin, a new pin will be issued to the mobile number you provided when you applied if you’ve forgotten yours. You will be asked to input your ID number, which will also be delivered to your number if you can’t remember your student number.
- If you submitted a hard copy application rather than an online one, enter the student number you received through email or SMS, select “Forgot Pin,” and a text message will be issued to your cell phone.
You can keep track of how your application and enrollment status are doing at the University of Fort Hare by frequently monitoring them. It enables you to prepare for registration in advance and make any required preparations for a smooth transfer to the university.
