Booklist/site owners are required to populate the Booklist site with details of prescribed and recommended books required by their Department, for the academic year. This exercise will be performed on a yearly basis for first and second semester courses. This exercise will be repeated in November of each year for new second semester courses. Site owners are required to complete the exercise by the end of September of each year, by doing so Bookshops will have enough time to place orders for stock. Download the Booklists site instruction manual (updated November 2009).
UCT staff and students, as well as alumni and visitors can easily access a range of textbooks, stationery and official university apparel and gifts under one roof – thanks to the UCT Campus Store.
The official on-campus retail haven, the store also offers miscellaneous products and is modelled on the ivy-league campus store concept.
The store is operated by the Atlas Group of companies, an official distributor of UCT apparel and gifts, who also brought the university brand to the heart of Rondebosch. The store has also display cabinets at the International Academic Programmes Office and the Faculty of Health Sciences.
It has three divisions: apparel and gifts (Email us), textbooks (Email us) and stationery (Email us).
The store, which is open from 08h00 to 17h00 on Mondays to Fridays, and from 09h00 to 13h00 on Saturdays, also launched a website to allow clients to stop online. Orders can also be made via email.

Various corporate gifts and items suitable for conferences are available for purchase from the Communication and Marketing Department.
