Unisa Application Check 2024/2025: Application of Admission Check

Unisa application status informs all students about their application’s progress via the application procedure. If you’ve applied for a federal admission opportunity or if you’re a student who has applied for an internship opportunity, your status will be different.

How To Access Unisa Application Check 2024/2025

  • Your application will be evaluated by Unisa based on the academic admission requirements for your chosen qualification, your undergraduate final grade, and the number of spaces available for the qualification for which you have applied.
  • Applications must go through a rigorous selection and approval procedure that might take up to three months.
  • Applicants may not be automatically approved to study through Unisa in 2024, based on the application and selection process stated above.

Application outcomes

Your application was successful. Your application was unsuccessful.
Unisa will inform you that your application for the 2024 academic year was successful and the qualification for which you have been accepted.
You must accept or decline Unisa’s offer within the prescribed period of time. To accept or decline Unisa’s offer, go to www.unisa.ac.za/accept the offer
Please remember to register for the 2024 academic year.
Unisa will inform you that your application was unsuccessful.
Please read the letter from Unisa carefully to check whether any alternative options are provided. You may also visit www.unisa.ac.za/studyoptionsHONS to explore other study options.
Incorrect/incomplete applications will be rejected.


Please note:

  • Applicants whose admission to a qualification or to both qualifications of choice has been rejected may appeal the outcome of their application, either on the basis that they believe the decision was an error on the part of the university or that further supporting documents may result in a different outcome to their application for admission. Please note that not uploading required supporting documents during the application process is not grounds for an appeal.   • If you were previously registered with Unisa, Unisa will send the outcome of your application to your myLife e-mail account. Please check this e-mail account regularly for information. If you have forgotten your myUnisa / myLife password, please go to myUnisa (https://my.unisa.ac.za) to update your password. If you are a first-time Unisa applicant and do not have a myLife e-mail address, Unisa will communicate with you via the e-mail address and cellphone number provided during the application period.
