  • Only if a UNISA official travels more than 100 kilometers from his or her place of employment will lodging be reserved.
  • Officials who attend after-hours University events that are likely to end after 19:00 may arrange accommodations on those occasions as an exception to the norm in paragraph 24, provided the official must drive more than 100 kilometers to return home.
  • The lodging charges shall be limited in accordance with SOP (Annexure D).
  • The annual review of the hotel rate cap will take into account the different types of officials.
