How to Cancel a Unisa Application 2024
How to Cancel a Unisa Online Application 2024
Payment problems & cancellation dates
The university will terminate a student’s registration if a cheque or credit card is presented in payment of the minimum amount that must accompany a student’s registration application, and the payment of that cheque or credit card is later returned unpaid by the bank. The student’s complete tuition fees for the year or semester must be paid in cash, electronic transfer, or bank-guaranteed cheque into the university’s bank account, or via debit card payment at any of the Unisa regional offices, before the relevant closing date.
The student’s account will be debited with a one-time administrative levy per dishonoured transaction when the cancelled courses are re-registered.
Overdue accounts and accounts handed over for collection
No student will be allowed to re-register with the university until all previous registration periods’ outstanding debt has been paid in full. Students whose accounts have long-overdue amounts may be turned over to a third party for collection. Any collection or legal costs incurred as a result of the account being turned over will be borne by the student. Overdue accounts that have been turned over for collection should be paid or arranged with the collection business in question.
