North-West University Application 2024/2025: NWU University Online Application 2024-2025 Form PDF Download

NorthWest University (NWU) Online Application for the 2024-2025 Academic year will be open on 1 April 2023 and close on 30 September 2023 for all undergraduate applicants. It’s therefore, necessary for all applicants who want to study at the North-West University (NWU) must submit an application online at www.nwu.ac.za online application form 2024 portal before the closing date or deadline for NWU University will not accept Late applications for 2024.

NWU University is a South African public research university with campuses in Potchefstroom, Mahikeng, and Vanderbijlpark. On the Potchefstroom campus, the university’s central office is located. With the merger, NorthWest University became one of South Africa’s largest universities, with the country’s third-largest student population (full-time and distance learning).

Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education and Northwestern University have amalgamated to establish this institution (formerly Bophuthatswana University). Vanderbijlpark already had a branch at the University of Potchefstroom.

To apply to North-West University 2024, you will need the following documents below:

• A certified copy of the green barcoded ID
• Proof of payment of any relevant application fees
• Certified copy of grade 11 results and any latest grade 12 results

How to Apply NWU Online Application Form 2024-2025

The North-West University, NWU Applications for 2024 can be done online or by downloading an application form in pdf format, filling out the form with the requested details and submitting it to the NWU Admission office.

Apply to NWU Online 2024: To Apply to the North-West University (NWU) online, follow the steps below

1. Visit the NWU website at www.nwu.ac.za
2. Click on the “Apply Online” tab
3. The online application window will be open
4. Click on “New Applicant” to start the application process
5. Create an NWU Student Number and proceed to the application
6. Fill in all the mandatory fields with the required details and click the “NEXT” button.
7. Complete and submit your application for review

All universities in South Africa were obligated by law to take part in a National Project driven by the regulatory bodies (Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), to align all qualifications with the Higher Education Qualification Sub Framework (HEQSF). The NWU is thus currently in the ongoing process of aligning our qualification and programme offering with the requirements of the HEQSF.

Prospective students must take notice of the fact that NWU qualification names, programme names as well as the composition of curricula may change due to the HEQSF Project, prior to registration for the 2023 academic year.

Successful candidates are advised to contact the relevant faculty in order to ensure that they register for the correct qualification, programme and /or curriculum.
