About Us

The Department of Agriculture, the Department of Clinical Sciences, the Department of Health Sciences, and the Department of Life Sciences are the four departments that make up the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences. Environmental health, agricultural management, and a number of health-related fields, such as clinical technology, radiography, biomedical technology, dental assisting, and somatology, are all taught by the faculty. Most of these fields have both undergraduate and graduate-level specialty fields.

The faculty provides students with exciting chances to participate in postgraduate research programs. Intriguing research initiatives are carried out by the Center for Health Sciences, Unit for Drug Discovery Research, Unit for Food Safety and Technology, as well as research programs in Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, and they provide significant services to the community. Numerous community projects are undertaken by the faculty.

National Diplomas: Extended Curriculum Programmes

The Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) may be recommended to prospective students applying for admission to a National Diploma in the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences in place of the regular program. Prospective students must first apply for admission to the mainstream program before they can apply directly for admission to the ECP. If a student chooses to pursue the ECP, the length of the diploma program will be increased by one additional year of full-time study.
